Hi Everyone,
Everything is going pretty good. We have had a huge increase in referrals the past few weeks which has really helped us to boost our teaching. Service has kind of slowed down a bit which has let us teach a bit more. Our current service is about to wrap up and then we will be starting fresh on a new project. One of the new referrals is tonight, we are going to teach a part member family, which should be really good. The sister has been coming to church for the past few weeks, so we will see what happens. This week we probably will be helping out at the dairy some more and burning off a field or two. Then add on a weird Mardi Gras and it should make out for an interesting week.

Hey Ya'll
I feel like it has been awhile since I have written a group email. Sorry about that. It's been pretty normal around here like usual. Our service has been really successful and we have seen a ton of blessings from it lately. We have received about 6 referrals from our service this past week and on top of that a less active man, I have been working with since I got here, came to church for the first time this Sunday. This week we have some awesome appointments lined up so it should be a good time. Hopefully we can keep pace with the service while we set up these teaching opportunities. I have really come to love serving people and realize how important it is to just look after people. A lot of the time we have to care for people's temporal needs before we can help them spiritually. We're hoping one of the members might take us fishing somewhere in the next couple of weeks, so if that's not motivation to work hard, I don't know what is. haha. I keep ya'll in my prayers!

Hi Family
How are things going! It sounds like your Stake conference was pretty great. Our mission conference with Elder Cook was really good too. He gave us a really awesome blessing at the end and I think it was just what we all needed to hear. He let us know what we can do, that will probably have the biggest impact is to get the youth that we are around to have a desire to serve missions and also to continue to reach out to the less actives. Things have been pretty good here. We have been doing a ton of service and are almost finished up with the project we have been working on. We have cleaned out the barn, built horse stalls, burnt three fields, cleared part of his property of briars and bushes. Its been a lot of work but it has been really good. Our reward is going there fishing. Hopefully we catch some nice fish that we can take home and eat. Oh, I didn't get transferred so I will continue to serve here in Slaughter.
